I found a lot of birds, a frog, a guy, and a baby in my sketchbook and I thought
they were kinda cute so I decided to post them.

Book - Action Pose

Real Action Pose Collection

This book has a collection of live action photos taken by Uden Flame Works company :) It says that they worked on Devil May Cry series and Death Trance which I think are famous games titles.. so I guess it's a well known company. The photos are quite small on most pages, but a lot of them are sequential, so it must be very helpful if you are into animations or comics. I usually use this book as a reference or a guide when I need to draw male muscle structures. It has really interesting photos with guys jumping into the air, falling down, fighting 2:1 and all sorts of really intersting stuff, so if you like drawing figures, you should have a look at this book :)

Here are some really quick sketches I did with the pics from this book!

Books - Facial Expressions

  Facial Expressions by Mark Simon

This is a really helpful book for those who want to work on how to draw heads with various emotions and feelings :)
I'm sure a lot of you know about this book already because it's such a famous book... but if you haven't seen this book yet, then I would definitely recommend you to get one for yourself or get it from the nearest library. It helped me a lot when I did my assignments for Drawing and Painting class (especially Bob's classes...) in OCAD. It has people with different gender, age group, appearances (mustache, bald, hairstyle...) so it's very challenging too. My favourite is the last 3-4 pages with people in hats and goggles :)
